Ashe Family Foundation
Purpose
The mission of the non-profit Ashe Family Foundation is three-fold: (i) to support educational institutions that foster innovation, excellence, and cross-cultural inclusion at all academic levels; (ii) to promote awareness and appreciation of the arts; and (iii) fund initiatives and projects in pursuit of a sustainable environment .
Method of Assistance
We generate philanthropy ideas internally through a team lead by our Benefactors (Kristine and Prescott Ashe) and our Administrator, Toni Morgan. We are also pleased to receive requests from others external to the Foundation and promise a prompt and thoughtful response.
We prefer to support organizations on a multi-year basis (often indefinitely for perpetual institutions) through annual contributions that can be relied upon and incorporated into budgets for long-term planning purposes.
Source of Funding
Our sources of funds comes from income earned on the Foundation’s assets, from our benefactors who make periodic contributions to the Foundation, and the donation by the Benefactors of all profits from their Napa Valley estate winery venture—Ashe Vineyard LLC (see www.AsheVineyard.com).
